Annie Leibovitz: I Am Not a Child Pornographer

vfmiley.jpg Photographer Annie Leibovitz, responding to criticism over Miley Cyrus' topless Vanity Fair photoshoot: "I'm sorry that my portrait of Miley has been misinterpreted. Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together, and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful.” [Us]

liebowitz belongs on trial for child porno and miley parents should lose custody for child abuse. americans who see this tramp, miley cyrus who is always flashing the satanic symbol, are 'nuts'. her father is a pimp.

This whole thing is so freaking stupid. "Oh my god, she's showing her naked 15 year old BACK!" Christ, she post more revealing photo's of herself on her myspace page than this. The self important of TV and the internet need to get over themselves. God forbid news reporters actually report real news. People need to care more about the war, the economy and the price of gas than some gopher faced little girl.

By definition this is child pornography. Because she is 15, she is not old enough to consent. therefore any racy photo is illegal. and Annie Leibovitz should be charged with child pornography. The simple fact that she waited till daddy stepped outside means that she knew what she was doing was wrong. The cyrus family should sue every publisher of this photo along with the photographer.
A pic of her waving at dad while she was tanning at the beach, even though it may show more skin is not porn. A provocative pose meant to tilliate is porn, regardless of how much or how little skin is shown.

Shame on you Annie Leibovitz!

I am American. Stop making such close minded judgments about us.

I found the pictures quite nice.

I think the pictures just came at a bad time. With all the going ons in Hollywood, and actions by mostly young ladies, these photos were just released with bad timing.

News media actually praised the pictures, but did question the decisions and circumstances. Americans who called in also found the pictures to be in good taste.
