Beach Bears: Older Actors In Swimsuits (Photos)

It's summer time, which means bathing suit weather. Which means soon we'll be pondering, as Paul Simon once did in Graceland "Why am I soft in the middle, when the rest of my life is so hard?" Besides having the best music video ever, this song serves to remind us of our own mortality and upcoming middle-life crisis, which I for one am looking forward to (sports car!!!).

And we're not the only ones! As much as tabloids love to pick apart young actresses with even the tiniest bit of cellulite hiding beneath their bikinis, there are a wealth of older actors who are more than willing to go bare (and bear) on the beach, despite the relative grossness of their dad gut. Hey, we can't all be Matthew McConaughey here.

Happy Easter All,

What a wonderful surprise Captain Phillips rescued, alive and well. Well, done SEALS!

@Rhonda: And a Hip Hop Happity Easter to you!I knew when the SEALS were involved there would be a definitive end to the piracy thing involving Americans. That is our hallmark. It WILL be dealt with, American style. It is a happy ending to be sure.

@weezy: Our navy is awesome, no doubt about it. My (ex)husband was on an aircraft carrier in the 80's, and those things are something else. To see one fully loaded with fighter jets is one hell of a sight. ALL Navy ships are impressive, and so are the crew.

i've always been amazed that they could land aircraft on a carrier like that. and to see a blue angels show is incredible too. so you are ex-navy? on the coast?

@weezy: Mayport, Florida. We lived in Jacksonville. They had a "family day" when family members got to go out on the carrier for the day. We sat on deck and watched jets take off and land, and they did a demo of various weaponry being fired. It was fascinating.
