Here's a rumor going around the media realm that strikes of "placement!." It's also a rumor we don't stand behind.
A rumor is going around that Bill Hemmer of Fox News was accompanied by model/actress Dara Tomanovich to the annual golf tournament Hemmer hosts and that she was introduced as his fiancee and was wearing a large ring.
Who is Dara Tomanovich, you ask? Well, she did an episode of Nash Bridges, and that's where the fun stops. But where does the fun start? Right here, where we play along with the game "Find Bill Hemmer a New Beard."

Why be so snarky?
From all I hear he is a great guy and I am happy for him. Whoever she is, she is a lucky gal.
He's not gay. He's too boring to be gay. Listen to him read the news for ten minutes and you pray for that elusive dirty bomb Cheney is always bitching about.

Bill Hemmer is a catch. He's handsome and has a warm manner and mild personality (although I've not had the good luck to meet him). He is interesting and concerned about the world we all live in, and is not afraid to get his hands dirty in a constructive way in order to learn. He is a man of integrity who, I think, has added credibility (although little) to Fox News. CNN was stupid, stupid, stupid to let hime go and I think they realize it now. Any woman/man who is privileged to become his partner hopefully will be supportive of him and his career. He deserves the best. If the rumor is true and he is engaged to Dara Tomanovich, I wish them both the very best and hope that she is worthy of him.

Bill Hemmer is a great guy period. He's bright, attractive, articulate and, his best trait of all, of course, is from "the 'natti" just like me :) What his sexuality has to do with his professional credentials is beyond my comprehension and, more importantly, none of my business.
Although I am gay, and about the same age as Mr. Hemmer, I'd much rather spend an afternoon discussing current events with Mr. Hemmer and hope to learn and broaden my understanding during that time. If I made a new friend in the process, that would be a bonus, but I would not judge him by his sexuality (or inquire about it), whatever it may be,
If he hasn't already, Mr. Hemmer will make a great partner for someone someday: gay, straight or platonic. I hope he finds that person and continues living a happy and fulfilling life.

Thank God Bill Hemmer doesn't have a filthy mouth like many of those who post here. Why would we consider anything relevant that you have to say when you can't even convey your thoughts without using disgusting language. Even parrots can learn to swear! C'mon people.
