While everyone else is distracted with Radar, fired bloggers, and Anderson Cooper on the Daily Show, we are busying ourselves thinking about the state of Bonnie Fuller's contract.
Of course, more Star news today means more speculation.
• As we know, Reese Witherspoon is suing Star for calling her fat, and commenting on the state of her womb. Usually the potential to lose money for a company doesn't entice them to throw more cash on the table.
• Then AMI went and hired Jill Dobson, former Miss USA contestant and correspondent for E! to conduct all of Star's TV interviews … a position formerly and firmly held by Bonnie herself.
• Of course, there are also two of the more obvious points (which a reader points out we failed to mention yesterday) and are worth reminding folks about: 1) The massive overhaul and relaunch of Star still leaves it slumping behind In Touch, US Weekly and Life &Style. 2) the relaunch of the National Enquirer, which, as our reader points out, "was such a disaster that the editor-in-chief was axed and the mag was moved back to Florida."
And while they are likely to drag this thing out all the way to the end, if y'all hear anything, you know we're listening! How we just wish Cindy Adams would lend us her crystal ball for just one day.
Are they moving back to Boca?
