Hmmmm maybe they have decided they want someone who is actually fair and balanced the way they advertise. Huckabee will have a huge audience. Whatever the man says, people hang on his every word. (even those who say they don't like anything about him are always on his debates on youtube listening and making their snide comments). But I know I certainly don't go on Obama's debates. Makes you wonder if maybe they like Huckabee a little more than they are willing to admit….

Brit Hume was a great journalist and anchor, Huckabee is a great commentator and pundit. Huckabee going over into the realm of journalism is not likely, his show (if he gets one) will likely be in the realm of punditry.

More power to both of them, they are both fantastic individuals.

We are missing Brit Hume already. Is he on vaction? He was not around on Special Report Aug.4–Aug 8. He is missing this week as well. We were hoping to see him at least for the rest of this year.

I will miss Brit if he leaves and I am curious as to who will replace him.
Fox recently named Bill Samon as Deputy Managing Editor of Washington (just under Brit) and Brian Wilson recently resigned as Fox Washington Bureau Chief. Is either replacing Brit?
