Oh Carmen Electra. You really want people to respect you for something other than your career as a Baywatch babe, but most people don't even respect you for that. Actually, most people don't even remember you enough not to respect you, so guess there's that. So why take a gamble on relevance by appearing in Disaster Movie with Kim Kardashian and referring to yourself in third person during interviews?

"She's that side of me that was afraid of rejection, that was afraid to take a chance, and step up and have someone say, 'no, you don't get the role," Electra says. "I do still have that side of me—that soft, sensitive side—and I think that Carmen is the more aggressive part of me. There are moments when I am so that little girl from Cincinnati, Ohio, and I cry and I'm just like everybody else. You know, I have all the same feelings that everyone else has."

The best part is when the actress(?) complains about how no one takes her seriously as anything other than a sexual object, and then three lines down, in describing a wrestling scene with Kardashian saying, "It’s also sexy. We’re sort of playing with the idea that guys get turned on by girls wrestling. We get into some down and dirty positions." Woof. That would be a legitimate image problem for a woman who is both smart and overtly sexual. But let's face it Carmen, you're not even in the Pamela Anderson league. Pam had enough sense to be in Borat. You're in Disaster Movie. Not even the talented Anna Faris can shine out from the black hole of that franchise.
