When we spotted CNN International correspondent and after-hours Central Park cruiser Richard Quest taking a tour of the new Airbus A380's on-board showers, we thought, "How fitting." But then we spotted yet another phenomenal feature — for upper class — aboard the jumbo plane: a hidden store of enjoyable beverages revealed at the touch of a button. This is good news for Quest, who can quench his thirst without first showing a flight attendant his 30-day chip. It is also a place he could store his rope before running to the bathroom to put it on. [Flickr, via Cityfile]

Richard Quest, the gay CNN International host who was arrested in Central Park in April after cops found him wondering around after hours, now carries with him a reputation for drug use and outdoor dildo and rope sex. It was just a few days later that Quest was said to have entered rehab for drug abuse; when he was arrested, he immediate fessed up to cops he was carrying meth. And then, just as quickly as the scandal brewed, it seemed to dissipate: CNN welcomed him back to the airwaves this month.
It just so happens that we caught Quest on CNN International today, reporting on the new bi-level Airbus A380, which the airline Emirates debuted in Hamburg, Germany. While 400 passengers will be squeezed into coach on the first floor, the upper class second floor is, literally, the lap of luxury.
So hard is the A380 trying to one-up the competition, they have outfitted the premium cabin with showers. And guess where Quest turned up? CONTINUED »

Drug addict, Central Park dildo carrier, and rope-smith Richard Quest is out of rehab and back at CNN's London bureau where, it turns out, the CNN Business Traveller host has already been making contributions for air. While he ramps up for August's show schedule, he's been filing other travel reports, including "Best Back Alley Cruising Spots," "Parks After Dark," and "Places the Po-Po Don't Know."

Because the only safe haven for a public personality to avoid the spotlight while resuscitating his image is rehab, that's where the hogtied meth-and-dildo-carrying CNN anchor Richard Quest is heading. Not that the decision was exactly voluntary: A judge ordered him into a facility. Given Quest's signature phrase – "Wherever your travels take you, I hope it's profitable" – we wish him the best. He's to undergo six months of treatment in exchange for the court dropping misdemeanor possession charges. And if The Insider's Pat O'Brien's escapades tell us anything, Quest could very well end up back on the cable network. Not that they're saying what'll happen either way.

The arrest of Richard Quest didn't just reveal the CNN anchor was holding (he volunteered to cops he was holding a baggy of meth), but also that he had a rope around his neck tied to his genitals, and a big 'ole dong in his boot, because WHERE ELSE WOULD YOU KEEP IT?
The New York Post says "It wasn't immediately clear what the rope was for," so let's clear things up for you, and share exactly why someone might wear a rope tied like this (possibly NSFW) … CONTINUED »

CNN International's Richard Quest, seen here in a tight-fitting tee, will help take some of the attention away from ABC News and its fumbled debate, thanks to his arrest early this morning in Central Park.
Found inside the lush green acres at around 3:40am today, he volunteered to police, while being escorted off the property, that he was carrying meth.
Add to the fact that Quest is an openly gay fella (even said to have been denied a job at Al-Jazeera English because he's gay, and Jewish), and you're looking at rumormonger that pretty much goes like this:
EVERY GAY IS A DRUG-FUELED SEX HOUND PROWLING FOR SEX IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.
Anderson Cooper? Watch yourself.
