Chris Matthews Explains Barack Obama's Odd Physical Maneuver

How to explain that gesture Barack Obama made with his wife Michelle last night, after clinching the Democratic nomination?

Irish Catholic Chris Matthews is here to explain what happened, for those of you trapped in I'm An Old White Man status.

Did you know it was also known as a "dap"?

CNN had basically the same story on their website this morning. They even went so far as to have some youtube.com "expert" give a brief history lesson on the origins of "The Dap" (WTF???). They have since pulled it b/c most of the comments were berating them for even "reporting" on this bullshit. I had attempted to leave a comment saying "CNN just gets stupider and stupider", but I don't think the moderators liked that one so much being as how it never up posted. Hopefully you guys will let me say "In addition to CNN, MSNBC is getting stupider and stupider".

We've been doing this for years? It's as commonplace as a handshake. What's the big deal? Now I know if I ever run into Barack or Michelle and I put a fist up, they'll know what to do with it!

    YES WE CAN!!

When is Chris Matthews going to his non-stop stop criticism of the Obama and start acting in an unbiased, professional manner? Just like the journalist he is supposed to be.

Night after night In have to listen to this tirade of carping.

Could there be a racist element in all this? I hear Mr Obama is black.
