Chris Wallace Orders a Round of Biased Coverage for the Whole Room
What do FNC and MSNBC have in common?

Fox News has long found itself defending its "Fair & Balanced" slogan. And rightfully so: Everyday there are endless examples of Roger Ailes' minions schilling for conservatives. Not exactly the straight and narrow its mantra would have you believe. But at the same time, MSNBC's liberal slant has floated on by with less criticism than Fox News has suffered. That's been changing recently; Chris Matthews and, in particular, Keith Olbermann have been fingered in recent months for driving the network's progressive bias, from its opinion shows to its hard news daytime broadcasts. And now Chris Wallace, who managed to stuff endless opportunities for meta media coverage into his Television Critics Association appearance, HE'S NOT GOING TO TAKE IT!

Continuing Fox News' war of words with MSNBC, "Fox News Sunday" anchor Chris Wallace accused its rival of being "in the tank" for Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama, while further pressing the news channel's case that the mainstream press exhibits a liberal bias.

"I think MSNBC's coverage went so far over the line that it lost all credibility," Wallace told reporters Monday at the Television Critics Assn. press tour.

Wallace accused MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann of inappropriately mixing anchor and opinion-making duties, and said Fox News drew a distinction between its reporters and opinion-minded hosts.

"There's a reason why Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity won't be anchoring the election night or the conventions," he said during the sesh at the BevHilton hotel.

I think it's "shilling," unless this involves old Austrian currency. Or Curt Schilling.

Chris Wallace is dead on! I used to be Fan #1 of Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann. But after watching them lick Obama's balls for the past 18 months, I had to delete the channel off my TV - it's basically turned into the Obama-Network.

Pathetic and even sadder is most viewers don't know if they are watching a news show or a commentary. MSNBC has become as far left and Fox is far right - extremism in any form is just another example of ignorance.

Cable news channels have ruined the news as has anything Murdock has gotten his hands on. Go back to National Network News. All you can eat in a 1/2 hour. Just the facts, Ma'am. The fact that these cable networks have to put out a "news" product 24/7 lends itself to deceptive practices.
CNN was so much better under Ted Turner, but, that was then and this is now.
