Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook Settle For Pennies on the Scandal
To the great dismay of the New York tabloids, Christie Brinkley has gone and settled her divorce with sleazy husband Peter Cook. She walks away the winner, with sole custody of their tween kids, all of the couple's real estate, and their boat, which is basically what she wanted all along. Cook walks away with a flat fee of $2.1 million from Brinkley, much of it to cover his legal costs, as well as the dubious honor of single handedly supporting Internet porn. [NYP]

Cook we know is a creep, but she has showed her true colors of what a attention crabbing whore she is.
I am anxious to see if he is arrogant enough to hang around the Hamptons which is really her domain, I can't believe anybody will socialize with him, he made himself an outcast. As for Christie, I applaud her for exposing him (pun) to the public, he deserved the humiliation. In the end he caved because two detectives were about to put the final nail in the coffin and he couldn't take anymore, so he got 2 mill to pay his legal fees and nothing else. Sweet
Unless you've experienced a creep like Peter Cook, you can't imagine how you'd handle yourself in the same situation. I would do the same in Christie's situation..and I may do just that in my current marriage to a similar creep. How much can a good wife and child endure? We're not the problem…he is (and he has a major one).
