College Dropout Jimmy Fallon Secures Conan O'Brien's Gig

jimmyfallon.jpg It's official, at least in the way things are official in gossip circles without official conversation: Jimmy Fallon is taking over for Conan O'Brien when the redhead departs for Jay Leno's proper late night spot in 2009. A formal announcement is expected May 11 or 12, when NBC brags to advertisers about all its promising new programming, and how it's basically handing the late late franchise to a Carson Daly knockoff.

While both Daly and Fallon are Tools, only Daly is a combo of Tool and Docuhe, properly known as a T'Douche.

Who knows? Fallon might actually be funny. Can't be worse Daly, can he? Hmmm… Might he pull a Sajak and SUCK at the interview format?

Who gives a crap if Jimmy Fallon is a college dropout!! And as far as comparing him to Carson Daly - (I can't even remember what he looks like) that's just not even right! Jimmy is a talented and very funny individual and I wish him the best of luck on his new gig!!

Although, I think it woul be a serious mis-step to have Horatio Sanz as hsi first guest, I wonder whom else he can pull? Conan went to the Tony Randall, but he's dead… Maybe Brunce Villanch? Or Liza?
