Crazy Asian Lady Goes Berserker at Hong Kong Airport

This is the newest "viral sensation" even though the footage is a month old, but I think it really speaks to the timeliness of videos where old people flip the fuck out. Especially cuz we have so much sad/scary airplane news these days, once in awhile it's nice to be reminded that airports are also often the site of much hilarity. Vid, after the jump.

So this woman missed her airplane flight and loses her shit, which in America would be just cause for tasering her to death. Luckily China is more tolerant of the elderly, and so this magical video is allowed to exist. Thanks, guys.

actually, hong kong has a separate government of it's own from the people's republic of china.
and the staff are really being quite rude to her.

Nice to her? If it was the US they would have TAZERED her, hand cuffed and sent her off to funny farm. Shit happens and yea, be mad, but dont be a stuck up self rightious ass. People think that they have the RIGHT to all these things called "luxury's"

Next time, BE on time.

maybe that says something about the us, then.

okay, so it was her fault she was late to the airport. it was her fault and she made a scene. but it is the airport personnel's duty to stay calm and be courteous to someone who is in distress. that's actually a rule that they have in most airports, and it's true for HKIA as well - i would know.

Mace her, restrain her and then load her in the luggage hold area of the plane. OR tell her to get her a** to the airport earlier next time. I can't stand these morons who think the world revolves around their schedule.

I don't believe it's the duty of airport personnel to endure verbal and physical abuse from passengers. I don't know what she's saying, but I'm going to guess it's not, "Oh it's too bad I missed my flight, thank you for trying to help me off the ground."

This woman is out of control and her behavior is unacceptable, regardless of the culture in which she was brought up. How embarrassing for her, and we're all making her famous for her childish antics.

I agree with Alex, this is not funny at all, and we don't know enough about the situation to pass judgement. For all we know, the poor woman could have made sudden and immediately flight plans to see a dying relative. I would not blame her, nor would I be stupid ass like some of you and assume that she was snoozing without knowing more.

Word on the street is she hasn't gotten an apology from Michael Phelps yet and she is hoppin mad at Miley Cyrus also. Missing her flight was the last straw so she had a meltdown for the world to see. Drama queen!

This woman is obviously in distress and we can't tell why, so a little compassion please. The airport personnel (guy in suit?) didn't seem to be rude to her — he didn't lay a hand on her. I believe the other gentleman is probably her husband — it seemed like he was trying to calm her down and help her get control of herself.

Not much funny about this one, and what's really sad is one can't even have a bad day in public anymore without being subject to ridicule on the world wide web.

this is a little more than a bad day. .she is a grown women and realistically what is flipping out going to do? you cant bring the plane back you can't turn back time so deal. and as for the idea that we should be compasionate because we dont know the situation really?? next time a crazed woman does more than flip out in an airport and i dont know hits 10 people with her car en route to the hospital to see her dying husband. i doubt we'll cry out for compassion..Once you excuse one crazy old lady you have to excuse them all and that is some chaos NO ONE wants..

Hey guys! It says at the boarding gate and not at the check-in area.
I once was late at the check-in, ground attendant accepted me. And i asked her how can I get into the bording area fast, They will page you, she answered. So I was paged and they help me in.
In another international airport we were late at the boarding area because it took us long in the overbaggages line. But the ground attendat recalled us after immigration.
The lady should have had received same assistance.
Remember she pays to enjoy the services.
For me she has the right to be upset.
