Cynthia Rodriguez's Divorce Plans Aren't Making Things Any Easier for Madonna
Plus, there's that asshole brother of hers

arodmadonna.jpg

It really should be Madonna's year. She's got a new album out (although it's been panned by critics and fans), she's about to embark on an international tour this fall (to perform lyrics that include "Don't pretend you're not hungry, I've got plenty to eat / Come on in to my store, ;cause my sugar is sweet"), and her adoption of David Banda, once mired in controversy, is finally being made official. And then she had to come to New York.

It's then that rumors of a romance with Yankees star Alex Rodriguez really began pouring out, forcing publicist Liz Rosenberg to repeatedly shoot them down with the excuse that they share the same manager, Guy Oseary, rather than acknowledge the long-standing trouble in her client's marriage to Guy Ritchie. And it's then that Madonna began taking the blame for the marital woes between A-Rod and wife Cynthia, despite the baseball player's well-known man-about-town romancing, all of which forced Cynthia to run off to Paris to spend time with "friend" Lenny Kravitz, who just happened to once date Madonna.

And all of that's before her brother even has a chance to make the morning show rounds to plug his tell-all book.

Christopher Ciccone, who used to be close with his superstar sister as recently as the 1990s, is no longer on a speaking basis with her. And with all the negative publicity surrounding Madonna, it's the perfect time to sign with Simon & Schuster to spill on Madonna's lesbian spirit (making out with Gwenyth Paltrow), her marriage to Sean Penn (rocky), and now her barely-afloat relationship with Ritchie, which "is only kept together by the intervention of a rabbi who travels to their homes to act as informal counsellor."

And meanwhile, Cynthia is expected to file divorce papers today, all but naming, in court docs, Madonna and her crazy Kabbalah following as the reason for her marriage problems.

Which means we're going to stick by our guestimate that Christmas will be the soonest Madonna will announce a split from Ritchie. If Cynthia and A-Rod are about to engage in a very public divorce, the last thing the pop star will want to do is fuel rumors the Yankees star had anything to do with her marriage crumbling while she's preparing to save the world in four minutes.

She's a tired, worn-out old whore who is still trying to prove she's "got it" by attracting someone like A-Rod. We all knew he liked cheap whores–look at his stripper escapade for proof of that. This latest PR stunt of Madonna's has backfired on her.

Album panned by fans? Really? I just spent the weekend out on Fire Island and let me tell you, the homos were eating up her singles on the dance floor out there.

Has Madonna ever released a good album? No. Her music is terrible, she's not a great singer, and the lyrics and production are high school. Yech, all around. And speaking of Rodriguez, who breaks up a marriage to a hot model with little kids in the picture by fooling around with a has-been lame singer who is married to a once-successful film director? In other words: who cares?

Puh-Lease stop with your anti-Madonna tirades and get your facts "straight". M just released a statement on the state of her marriage and involvement with A-Rod. Also, "Hard Candy" has been hardly "panned" by critics and fans. It's actually been called "amazing" by listeners who aren't even Madonna fans. And I highly doubt you've spent much time listening to HC, since you can't even get the lyrics to "Candy Shop" right. "4 Minutes" is her biggest hit in ages and "Give It 2 Me" is starting to pick up steam. To end this comment, I'll use a real Madonna quote…"They say that a good never lasts and that it has to fall…those are the people that never amounted to much at all…"!!!

    Long live her royal Madge-esty!!!

Madonna and her music would be no where if it wasn't for the gay guys. They are the only ones who like it or her.
Guy Ritchie should learn from the Brinkley/Cook fiasco and go after full custody of the children. He's much a much more stable human being than she is. She's even starting to look like Joan Crawford. I think the kids would be better off with him. He seems like a pretty normal, down to earth bloke.

Madonna is doing what she has always done. She has created a huge wave of publicity right at the time her new CD and tour are out. She has never cared if the publicity makes her look good or bad, either way its publicity. And this is the most brilliant yet. Madonna spends the last 8 years making herself look like a devoted wife and mother. A person who has found "God" and wants only to do good in the world, then WHAM! The gossip columns are full of stories about a crumbling marriage that was a lie, lesbian escapades and a sleazy affair with a married man. No matter if its true or not, she is laughing all the way to the bank.

She's lucky to have Guy, who did she have before, Dennis Rodman, she is an embarrassment, 50 years old, richer than dirt and still writhing around the floor and acting the fool. It's time to shut up and act like a lady and adopting an African baby isn't going to convince anybody you have a heart, Angelina does it well, she doesn't. There is nothing genuine about it.
