Dane Cook is the worst and that is surprising to no one. He's the worst at telling jokes, the worst at making movies, and the worst at being himself. Dane Cook is the triple threat of terrible.
So when the posters for My Best Friend's Girl came out, co-starring Cook and Kate Hudson and Jason Biggs, and looked terrible (see left) Dane Cook had no one to blame but himself. And the people who make movie posters, obviously, since they were trying to ruin his career with crappy artwork. And Dane Cook doesn't need anyone else making him look like an idiot, okay? He's got it covered.
Surprisingly then, the reviews for MBFG were not quite ecstatic for Mr. Cook's performance as an asshole-for-hire, and the film opened in 3rd place this weekend to a dismal $8.5 million (still more than Bangkok Dangerous though). Let's see where the movie did Dane wrong:

I really don't understand all the hating on Dane from film critics. He is the worlds top comic, in fact he sells out major arenas. And his CD's are top sellers, so I can't be the only person that likes him. I have had the pleasure of meeting him after one of his sold out shows, and he could not have been a nicer guy! He stuck around until every autograph had been signed and every fan that wanted a photo with him got one.
Dane Cook is ugly and not funny. Kate Hudson. I don't get how she gets work. She is just not a good actress or compelling in any way. Poor Jason Bigs. Best moment of his carear is making sweet love to an apple pie. Neat huh.
Whoever gave these people money to put this turd on cellulod must have money to wipe their bums with. This thing has stinky rotten failure all over it.
Actually, I kind of think Dane Cook is kind of cute… but as a comedian? Not that great.
As for the question why is he popular? Never underestimate the stupidity of the masses. When American Idol is the top show on television and Two and a Half Men is not far behind, I know why Dane Cook is considered "funny."

Who is Dane Cook?? Guess I missed his comedy routine. As for Kate Hudson . . . her career is mostly OVER!!! That poor girl has made some really bad choices as far as movies are concerned. She needs to dump her management team and start fresh. It's not too late. She's still young. Unlike poor Jen Aniston!!

I don't understand all the hating. I think he's funny. But forget the stupid movies he does. You have to watch his stand up and online stuff. "You Suck at Photoshop" is a hilarious web series and in the season finale that came out today Dane Cook is revealed as the host! Check it out.
