Besides loving WWD's Stephanie Smith for calling Dave Zinczenko an "abs architect," we love her for sending word the Men's Health editor is bringing forth a women's version of his Abs Diet franchise. Coming in May, The Abs Diet for Women is targeted at career women like Maria Bartiromo … and the stay-at-home mom fatties who get wet down there whenever he's on the Today show.
While it's impressive that Dave spat out the book without any help from corporate cousin Women's Health, more impressive is his vast knowledge of female biology. And sixth grade prose.
Reports WWD:
The book dishes out advice on nutrition and exercise for a toned tummy and overall optimal health. The passage on menopause turned up some particularly unique observations: "Like a good bouillabaisse, all women aren't made the same way — especially when it comes to how they respond to menopause." Additionally, Zinczenko writes, "Though you may associate hot flashes with getting a glimpse of Usher's abs, they're more common in menopausal women for another reason."
On the book jacket, meanwhile, Zinczenko is introduced as "the guy who would have been better off not hiring a ghost writer."
