Deciphering Scientology Speak
What the hell is Tom Cruise talking about?

By now, you better have seen that damn Scientology video starring Tom Cruise. But have you any idea what the hell he’s talking about? He throws around terms like “KSW,” “SP,” and “PTS.” Huh?

MSNBC gets to the bottom of things.

KSW: Keep Scientology Working
SP: Suppressive People (”anyone who dares criticize the cult”)
PTS: Potential Trouble Sources

And then the awesome combo of PTS-SP: Potential Trouble Sources-Suppresive People.

Can you use them all in once sentence? “Katie, we need to KSW, so you stay on the lookout for PTS while I go on TRL and scout for SPs.”

Mr. Cruise is speaking to Scientologists and uses scientology jargon. Whereas the article says it defines “SP”, it does not. A Suppressive Person is one who suppresses positive effort. Hitler was an SP. Terrorists are suppressive. Persons who harm and degrade positive effort are acting suppressively.

I seriously doubt that anyone would go “oh this is interesting sign me up.” The reporter is mad. It comes off as a joke. To those that practice it I’m sure it’s not but I really doubt this is a good thing.

KSW? PTS? What Scientologists mean with that is on the net (I put it on my blog but you can “google it” too). “To KSW” does not exist though. This is the title of a series of Scientology texts by L. Ron Hubbard to make sure that Scientology is not being abused. It stands for “Keeping Scientology Working”.

I see the scienos already have the (b)org in force offering silly reasons why the latest unhinged-o-rama by their top celebrity figurehead isn’t really quite that insane, just nutty like a fruitcake. Fear not, I am sure the great Elron will reward you out there in the galaxy when you meet him after your billion year contracts are up. When you do get the chance, be sure to ask him if he ever found those imaginary 21 medals and palms he didn’t earn during WWII, as well as seeing if he ever caught up with his pals Aleister Crowley and Black Jack Parsons. I’m sure his “Babalon Working” sessions were almost as much fun as taking the money of the faithful.

The closing comments in the reporter’s video above ring true. (paraphrased) “If those who released the Tom Cruise video were trying embarrass Scientology, it may just be backfiring; it may just be making people more curious about Scientology than ever before.”

Cleveland Bill, doesn’t seem like Scientologists have to do anything to garner interest in Scientology, when “critics” like you are doing the job for them.

LOL.

The 5th messages pretends that speaking of this Tom Cruise’s hardsale session of his cult could give more interest into scientology. Well, while then are the scientologists so unhappy that critics go after their “tommy-christ”, if that gives them more clientele?
The truth is that - and I can say it since an ex-senior exec of the cult, scientology is ridicule, anti-scientific, and this is visible from the jargon its members use to describe normal things… hubbard loved to use scientologese instead of normal words, which would have disclosed how much he had plagiarized from other authors, twisting their techniques.
