Deep Throat Dead: Mark Felt Dies at 95
 

Forever known as the man who brought down President Richard Nixon, and whose identity was shrouded in secrecy until just three years ago, Mark Felt died last night at age 95. Had Felt not revealed his identity in Vanity Fair then, well, Felt's death would've freed Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein of their promise to protect their source — and they could've been breaking news of Deep Throat's identity right this minute.
