Did You Hear the One About Sarah Palin and the Towel?
Palin Porn

That coming-soon expose about Sarah Palin and her egregious spending during the presidential campaign is certainly becoming a hot-ticket item, which makes us wonder how the guys over at the scrambling papers were able to round up these anonymous, disgruntled McCain staffers and get them to go on record. Sure, they are angry and out of work now, but it shouldn't be too hard to put the details together and get the names out of all the aides who spilled the beans on this article, and then try getting a job in politics, buster.

My grandma always said there was a special place in hell for turncoats, but then again my grandma was crazy.

The most recent example of Palin-bashing by a former McCain staffer, after the jump. This is the one that starts off with the Alaskan governor answering the door in a towel.

At the GOP convention in St. Paul, Palin was completely unfazed by the boys' club fraternity she had just joined. One night, Steve Schmidt and Mark Salter went to her hotel room to brief her. After a minute, Palin sailed into the room wearing nothing but a towel, with another on her wet hair. She told them to chat with her laconic husband, Todd. "I'll be just a minute," she said.

Holy hell. The next Woodward and Bernstein equivalents are going to be from Penthouse.

Also: the lady didn't know that Africa was a continent. Which is fine, it's not like that sort of knowledge was required of our last president, either.

This just sounds like some desperate writers fantasy. I commented yesterday that I do not care for Palin…she's a dope. But the "anonymous" nature of this all seems like character assasination, and I don't accept that towards anyone. The more I see this story, the more it does make the claim of media sexism stick. How outraged would we be if this was Michelle Obama, or we focused on Baracks clothing cost?

Stop with the moronic demonzing already! Now that the election is over the Republicans have been asked to join in the nation's support of our new President which many are ready to do. Why can't the liberal Democats do the same? This is all ridiculous, sexist rant anyway. Please stop.

Palin isn't qualified to be vice-president of a condo association. She didn't know Africa was a continent or what the VP does in the Senate? Her 'over the top' spending of funds contributed by people who wanted to support McCain's run for the Presidency showed a total disregard for everybody else but Queen Palin. We don't need people like you in National politics, Sarah. In fact, if I lived in Alaska, I wouldn't want you in state or local politics either. You're a nitwit!

I disagree with axt. I think everyone in the McCain campaign kept quiet during the campaign and presented a untited front - they were supportive of her 100%. However - now that they have lost - they owe her nothing. Frankly - for the future, the strength, the health of the Republican party (brand) they need to cut her off at the knees now - not in 2012 - when she will be another distraction and disgrace. It's one thing to lie about her in the middle of the campaign when you are up against a wall - but now they have the opportunity to end her career and get the country focused on other, better choices for the republican party.

Sarah Palin took money in getting clothes for her and her family from people who wanted to support McCain campaign.

After the aides leaked this to the media, she defended herself at a rally that they were not worth $150K and the clothes would either be returned or donated to charity.

However, it turned out that it was a lot more than $150K! Also, she took them home to Alaska. GOP lawyer has to go there to get them back. What do you call her? A theif!

This woman is a crook and a liar. But does not have the intelligence.
