DNC Halves The Votes? F That

The DNC's party’s rules committee agreed to seat the Florida and Michigan delegates at the national convention, but granted each delegate only half a vote. The ruling gives Hillary Clinton 34.5 delegate votes, and Barack Obama 29.5 votes. Covering the 10-hour meeting, the New York Times' photographer Stephen Crowley captured this moment: "Alice Huffman, a member of the D.N.C.’s Rules and Bylaws Committee tried to console Kim Frederick of Houston, who shouted at the committee following the ruling."
And by the framing of her lower lip underneath her front teeth, you can imagine what she was about to shout.

It is disturbing what Hillary Clinton and her NUTTY crew have done to the democratic party.
I am a woman and I am totally insulted by the behavior of these women.
#1 - Barack Obama followed the rules, now Hillary and Company a fighting rules that Hillary AGREED to. It is disgusting!!
#2 - Barack Obama didn't steal the election, PEOPLE VOTED for him and so did the Super Delegates.
#3 - The Hillary camp keep comparing their NASTY behavior to the civil rights movement. Last I remember WHITE WOMEN had more rights than any black person.
*White women weren't lynched!
*White women weren't 3/5 of a person!
*White women disn't have to stand or sit in the back of the bus. Au contraire, if a white women ever accused a black man of anything, his life was over…
I am happy that this election has shown just how IGNORANT and racist this society really is..
Thank you Hillary Clinton for showing your true colors.
Hillary Clinton is not trying to steal the vote.
Let's list it:
1. I am proud of Hillary Clinton in trying to get our votes counted. By the way, so should Barack Obama. No one in the democratic party is trying to negate one candidate.
2. People should realize this isn't about women being lynched or being considered less than a person.
3. White women suffered, regardless of the quantity of suffering. The suffering should not mean one iota of difference.
4. According to the author's above-mentioned statements, she is very ignorant and racist. Thankfully, this will not continue.
Thanks to Coco-Cocks-Arquette to say that she needs to reconsider her views, and go back to school. She is possibly the most ignorant person in America next to Bill O'Reilly.
Hey Coco-Cocks you do realize that black men had the right to vote before females, don't you? I am proud of Senator Clinton and the race that she has run against Barack Obama and the media. Now the media and his campaign want to win the supporters of Sen. Clinton. I feel this may be too little too , too late. As for me, " I'm not ready to make nice."
Mr Ickes hit the nail on the head yesterday during the DNC Meeting. He spoke out and said that the election process is and always has been
marred by fraudulence. This time around the
process has been perverted by OPM. "Other People's Money", and enough of it can buy anything.
The election has been marred by fraudulence … but not the way that Ickes claims it to be.
Seriously, how could they possibly count the Michigan votes? Obama's name is not even on the ballot at all! Which means you can: 1) support Hilary, and voted for her, 2) support Obama and vote uncommitted, 3) support Obama, but vote Hilary because that's the only Democratic nominee available and 4) you are truly uncommitted and hence, you vote uncommitted. The Michigan split is best-possible, but still a very very flawed way to distribute the delegates.
And the Hilary side has been painted as the more tenacious group by the media. I feel that's a little unfair. Obama supporters are there at the committee meeting too. They just didn't hackle and swear at anybody. Doesn't mean they don't care about the outcome. I for one, am proud that Senator Obama can take the high ground and rise above that. I don't see him comparing the Florida election results to Zimbabwe (yes, you losing a few Florida delegates is as HORRENDOUS as the decades-long Mugabe regime where opposition is systemically murdered or assaulted!!) if he's falling behind.
And don't forget, Hilary full-scale supported voicing the Florida and Michigan votes up till those primaries, when she THOUGHT she had the solid lead. She only flip flopped once she realizes she's behind. That tells you what kind of politician she is, and will be.
Hilary needs to call it quits, with dignity before she drags down her entire party. The sooner she does this the sooner they can start fighting against the real enemy; McCain and the Republic machine.
Assuming that Hillary gets her 'second' wish and Obama loses to McBush in 2008, does she seriously think that there will be any chance of her getting the nomination in 2012? Past history suggests not. Nobody is going to forget.
That hysterical woman is from TEXAS?! She isnt even from one of the affected states?!
Clinton is completely blind to how polarizing she is to the American public. What used to be confined to conservatives and right leaning independents has now spread within the Democratic party. Same goes for the people surrounding her - Ickies, McAuliffe and the whole gang.
And she hasn't done feminism any favors either. She and her "loyal followers" have only perpetuated the stereotype of strident, semi-hysterical, overly sensitive, perpetual victimology of the identity politics of the 60's and 70's.
She's USING all of you. You are only useful as a means to an end - LOOK AT HER RECORD. She has voted for more military appropriations bills than Obama or McCain. The administration that she draws on for her so-called 'experience' (Bill's) took welfare away from 700,000 children and passed NAFTA! What exactly are you fighting for?! ANY woman? Wait for the RIGHT woman.

The DNC is a joke and is a roadblock to a Dem win come November. Not at all related to this decision. It's that they let this happen to begin with. I'm sure some states moved up their primary dates on the GOP side and they managed to not nearly disenfranchise the very people they're counting on to win in November.
While the Obama and Hillary Stans might feel differently, you can't blame either candidate for this, no matter how much you want Hillary to drop out and no matter how much you believe Obama is trying to make this Florida 2000 all over again. I don't hate or even dislike either candidate. They both have lots of flaws as does McCain. McCain has the GOP working for him and we'll see proof of that when the smear campaigns start in October. Obama (who pretty much has the Dem nomination at this point) has the DNC which seems to prefer whining to winning. Why else can't they get it together? Howard Dean's "leadership" alone can't be blamed for this.
this whole this makes Mccain smile
