The conservative talk-show shock-jock has been diagnosed with cancer of his prostate. And while we wish him a speedy recovery, in the sense that all human beings should live life to the fullest without illness or disease, we also have to admit that the only thing more apropos for Imus would be ball cancer.

Well, no one deserves that. But if caught early and treated, he should recover fully. My dad was diagnosed at age 54 back in 1998. He had surgery and has been cancer-free ever since.
Those temped to vilify I'mus should pause noting all the good work his kids with cancer ranch in New Mexico does for children of all races. Also keep in mind his many fund raising efforts above and beyond the celebrity norm.
Well HELL. Imus wasn't my cup a tea, obviously, but there is no denying he did good things for those who needed it. We must take the sweet with the bitter in the interest of fairness. DAMN I hate when that happens. Honestly? I thought his last gaffe, for which he was tarred & feathered, really didn't amount to a hill of beans, for what it's worth.
Hang-in there I-MAN! luv ya!!
Imus a "conservative" talk-show shock-jock? News to me. I've been listening to Don for years, and at worst he's shown some liberal tendencies, i.e., the New Mexico kids' ranch. At worst, he's what he is; a non-idealogue. Just a guy with a great BS detector who calls it as it is. Hope he heals completely, and fast.
I meant AT BEST, he's a non-idealogue. And, there's nothing "worst" about the NM kids' ranch, of course. Just a figure of speech. Jeez, I hate editing, especially AFTER I hit "send".
@MarkH: there are blogs that will let you edit a comment a few minutes after you post, but they are few and fur between.
I mean't "far" between.
All it takes is for me to be more patient, Gren, but I hear ya.
Can't say I feel too bad about this. Now if only Bush, Cheney and Limbaugh would join him….
Nate, stay classy! Thats bad karma, man, wishing cancer on othe people. Wouldn't want to be you right now.
@Nate: isn't it odd that the same liberals, who want to buy a puppy for everyone in Darfur, cuddle with the Dalai Lama, and insist that no child should ever finish last in a game, are capable of such hateful comments.
fanofgrendel:
no need to lump all liberals together. you know better. as bitter as the republican posts can be, do you really want to start generalizing?
I guess it was karma that gave the gay community AIDS then? (I always knew Hauslaib was an evil little weasel. Glad the rest of you know it now too).
