Like she did with her divorce from Donald Trump, Ivana Trump knows not to leave any business opportunity unexplored. So when she wed singer Rossano Rubicondi over the weekend at her ex-husband's Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, she also cashed in — selling her wedding pictures to Getty Images for a whopping $600,000. How the photo giant will break even on the deal, let alone turn a profit, confounds us (is Ivana demand that much higher than we've guessed?). But it's the behind-the-behind-the-scenes deal that's more telling: Rubicondi demanded to get half of that fee in his name. Not that Ivana let that happen, exactly.
In the end, the new husband received $75,000, or Getty's entire deposit. More interesting: The Donald himself is said to have negotiated the terms.
And as for a point of reference: While the wedding pics of expired celebrity Ivana commanded $600k, remember that one celeb weekly editor guestimated powerhouse couple Beyonce and Jay-Z would've snagged a tiny $250k for their nuptials.

She has never looked worse. Her first face lift during the Marla years was fabulous, since then it has all gone downhill. Why can't these women age gracefully. This dude is a gigolo, actually he isn't even debonair enough to be a gigolo, if he didn't have the Italian accent he could be Joey on Friend.

How come nobody says those things about men who marry women significantly younger than they are? Not for nothing but Ivana's ex husband, Donald Trump, a man I greatly admire for his business prowess, is married to a woman young enough to be his daughter. But he is not ridiculed for that. He is seen as a stud by many in fact. Why do women in particular allow men to dictate what is okay for a woman to do - which is often in direct contrast to what they deem okay for men to do? The troubling part of that is not that men engage in these sexist double standards, but that women fully embrace this and judge each other accordingly. It's pretty pathetic if you ask me, that women are still defined by men - and happily and resignedly so.
