'"X-Files" star David Duchovny, who currently plays a womanizing writer on the cable television series "Californication," said on Thursday he has entered a facility for treatment of sex addiction. [...] He has been married since 1997 to actress Tea Leoni, with whom he has a 9-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son. "I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction," he said in a statement released through his lawyer, Stanton "Larry" Stein. Maybe he didn't want to do the publicity tour at all and was caught cheating on his wife and this was a cheap way out.
Isn't it psycho how these celebrities issue a public press statement that gets national and international attention and worldwide press–and then they ask for "privacy?" What the bleeping hell is wrong with these people? About 90 percent of Hollywood needs new classes, lessons and seminars on something they actually know very little about: public relations. That may seem surprising, but it's true. Most of them have zero understanding of public relations, how it works, and how it should work. This is just one example.
There was a blind item a few weeks back about a tv star whose movie bombed who was porking his tennis pro.
Check.
