Donny Deutsch May Be Surrounded By Ladies, But He Is Certainly Not Surrounded By Viewers

"CNBC talk show guy and famed ad man Donny Deutsch managed to get himself surrounded by women less than half his age at the Waverly Inn last night, all in short skirts and high heels," reports Roger Friedman. "It’s good to be king!"

Now, what, exactly, is Friedman's definition of King?

Because last time we checked, nobody was watching Donny's show.

In May, The Big Idea "scratched" with just 114,000 viewers, falling below Nielsen's 122,000 threshold to register a ratings point. And the June numbers, which came out recently, show Deutsch scratched in the 25-54 demographic for 12 of his 22 shows; that is, 55 percent of The Big Idea's programming registered fewer than Nielsen's required 53,000 viewers to register in the 25-54 demo.

That's quite the fiefdom to reign over.

Has anyone ever watched this piece-of-crap show? It's terrible. Absolutely awful. Whatever happened to just reporting the news on so-called cable news channels? These channels were 100 percent better when they simply had one person sitting at desk reading headlines, with some video on some stories. Really. These shows all suck, and this one is one of the suckiest. Besides lacking in news and entertainment, these cable television shows are unprofessional, ridiculous, irresponsible, juvenile, sensational–and incredibly stupid. Yes, stupid.

Donny Douche is obnoxious, his show consists of people who have invented a new product, and when he has an "expert" panel on to critique the inventions that is even funnier since they are your typical New York "success" stories like Shoshanna Lonstein who was probably paid some Seinfeld money back in the day and then married wealthy so her business had legs before it had legs.
