Dr. Drew Wants You to Try Sex…With Mom and Dad
Shudder

Dr. Drew Pinsky never met a social taboo he didn't want to whore out for financial gain and screen time on a Viacom station. Now that Celebrity Rehab: 2 is in the can (w/ crazy Gary Busey as the sober guy, w00t) what voyeuristic oddity will the oddly buffed "doctor" subject viewers to next season?

Welp, you ever thought about taking a sex-ed class with yr mom? Zing, but also for realz:

The show, "Sex … With Mom and Dad," is part of Think MTV's sexual-health campaign "It's Your (Sex) Life." In each half-hour episode, Pinsky will help a teen and his or her parents work through their problems discussing sex, dating and relationships.

Oh god. So glad this wasn't around when I was a teenager and desperate to be on any reality show that would take me, so long as it wasn't Intervention. There is a reason why so many teenagers would rather go to the Internet for advice on whether or not blow-jays give you throat babies, and it's because talking about sex with your parents is one step down from witnessing sex with your parents. Or witnessing your parents have sex.

Is there any part of this program that doesn't make you involuntarily scrunch up your face at the mental image of sitting on one of TRL's now defunct couches while all of America watches you watch your dad explain the female reproductive process? Bring back the birds and the bees, please.

This show is everything that's wrong with society. It crosses soo many lines. Considering that mostly young people watch mtv, it's sad to see them get brainwashed by more mtv shows making them think the most extreme messed up people are the norm.

A lot of their "reality" shows are actually scripted with actors posing as real people. Remember "date my mom?" All actors reading a script. Ask yourself why…

Boycott mtv! The govt. is involved in their shows to make the next generation too messed up to have healthy families in the future. Healthly families would bond and fight against against the dictatorship the govt. is trying to turn America into. It's the truth.

@ No.1: That's a tough one…if it's too hard too bring up, maybe try writing down what you want to say, and maybe even leave it somewhere for your mom to get the conversation started. Sitting down and just talking is probably best though. Whatever happened, you're still you and no one can take that away.

Recently, I found out that my daughter who was 15 at the time has had sex. She is an honor student, excels in sports and is overall a great kid. The times she had sex she was at her boyfried's house supposedly supervised by the boy's mother. Apparently not. I am sooo mad at the boy's mother.

I'm am so hurt…….we have always (or I thought)had a relationship where we could talk about just about anything. I don't feel like I can believe anything she says now. I keep catching her in little lies. So, to try to keep her from having sex I just don't let her go off much. Another fear is that her 14 year old sister will do the same thing thinking it's ok.

I'm just curious why some of the people who left comments think they need to tell their parents that they had sex. If you need some sort of help from your parents, then I understand. But if you have no real reason, and you know it will cause them pain, why tell them?

The person who was raped, okay, you should definitely tell and get the support you need to deal with that. Same for the Jan, who possibly has AIDS now (it's not clear from the comment). I don't see why Christine or Rakayla need to tell.

Be safe, everyone. Please.

To Have you considered being a bigger Moron? You are an apologist for George Bush, and the turd that you tried to pass as fact on DL Hughley was truly breathtaking.

"Yes Adolph, its easy to sit here in 1946 and say that gassing Jews was wrong, but who knew that way back in the 1930's?".

This is the same justification you use for the Iraq war.

Your children should be ashamed of the garbage you spew.

I'm ashamed to just see you on TV. How do you sleep at night?

Girls, speaking from my heart and experience, you need to tell your parents if you were raped. I was raped in college and just withdrew and didn't report it. I ended up pregnant. Now, I'm married and have three girls. I want them to come to me. Even if you think your parents will freak out — just remember, they are the people who care most about you in this world. It would break my heart for one of my daughter's not to come to me. Parents can empathize. Your culture and generation is very different from ours, but we can relate in many ways. And as parents we are not there to cast dispersions and judge, we truly care about the well being of our child. If you can't talk to mom and/or dad, find an adult mentor. Love, sex, and life are complicated — be wise and if nothing else *just listen* to what your parents have to say. Then you can decide what to do with that information.

What is with all the teen confessions that they had sex? Why on earth would anyone want to inform their parents? For God's sake, take birth control, use condoms, and keep it to yourself. I kinda doubt there are that many parents who actually want to sit down with their kids and hear all about the sex the kids are having. Jesus. Do your folks a favor and keep it private.
