Hachette Filipacchi brings us today's holiday cheer with news that Shock magazine – which started its tenure as rat cage lining with a little copyright infringement matter – is being shut down after just seven months of newsstand plague. Which is just one more piece of evidence to battle the idea that what's good for a niche blog is not good for a print magazine. Jeez, even Conde Nast knows that.
