Here's a "prominent and unambiguous" statement, although likely not to her lawyers' liking:I saw this bim in the New Orleans airport a couple of years ago. She was reading tabloids in the airport bookstore. The cashier, a very nice older lady, asked Jessica for her autograph. Jessica wouldn't even look at the woman and treated her like a piece of garbage. If I had Jessica's total lack of talent, total lack of beauty (except for that achieved with extensive cosmetic surgery), and creepy father, I would fall on my knees for anyone wanting an autograph. I put her celebrity shelf life somewhere between goat cheese and unpasteurized milk.

Jessica is self-centered, egotistical, and unfortunately the product of her father's upbringing. Her father convinced her that she was "such" a HUGE star that she didn't need Nick any longer, and perhaps he was even holding her career "back", and it was no secret that Jessica's dad did NOT care for Nick, so she left him. And, now…she is reaping what she has sewn…sorrow and lonliness! Nick tasted success in the music industry, fans still adore him and bought his album, fans turned on Jessica and blame her for the divorce and see clearly how selfish she is and her transparent motives and ditsy behavior is no longer cute. NO ONE wants to see her in a movie, NO ONE is buying her music, and NO ONE cares anymore about her because of her actions. The only one who truly loves her is her creepy father…she can keep him and his twister disfunctional family.
