German Police Thwart Baby Romeo and Juliet

German officials stopped a couple from flying off to Africa to get married, totally prejudice against these kids since they were…well, kids. Mika and Anna-Belle, aged six and five respectively, burdened by the responsibility of juice boxes and nap time, slipped out of their parents house and boarded the train for the German airport in Hanover.

Donning sunglasses, swimming armbands and dragging a pink blow-up lilo and suitcases on wheels packed with summer clothes, cuddly toys and a few provisions, they walked a kilometre up the road, boarded a tram to Hanover train station and got as far as the express train that would take them to the airport before a suspicious station guard alerted police.

So romantic. My preschool boyfriend never took me anywhere except Chuck-E-Cheese.
