Google To Use Information Accumulated By Not Being Evil To Crush Facebook
Watch your back, Facebook

After losing the chance to overpay for Facebook to Microsoft, Google has plans to enact its revenge.

The company will make a major move in the social networking scene early next month. (Wasn???t that move called Orkut and isn???t it only popular in Brazil????ed.)

Maka-Maka, the code name for the project, will exploit feed engines from Google reader to make ???activity streams??? similar to Facebook’s news feed. Google also wants to open up to third-party developers, which Facebook has been doing for the past six months.

Brazilians are excited about these developments. Everyone else is too addicted to Scrabulous to notice.
