Bill Clinton Likes Britney Spears, Hates In Touch Magazine
— Mon, Mar 26, 2007 —

In today's Memo Pad, Slick Willie comes out in favor of Boston Legal ("[t]he chemistry between William Shatner and James Spader is something to behold!") and everyone's favorite chrome-dome, Britney Spears. Plus, in addition to admitting that he "likes" Brit (possibly referring to her music, more likely referring to her televised smooch with Madonna) Clinton denounces the tabloids for their relentless coverage of Spears' lifestyle and defends the obviously troubled mother of two.**

"I think there's something wrong with modern culture if Britney Spears ??? who I happen to like ??? can't have a personal crisis without having it splashed all over the tabloids," he griped.

Naturally, we had no idea what he was talking about. Until we noticed a message in our inbox with the alarmist email subject reading "Britney Rushes to Hospital." The reason for said emergency medical treatment? Brit had a toothache, y'all.

**Confused by Clinton's show of solidarity? Don't forget Clinton has first-hand experience dealing with the professional ramifications of a personal scandal. Plus he can totally empathize with Brit's late-career weight gain!
