Playdates with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes certainly helped fuel the paparazzi feeding frenzy, but now let's add NBC reality show to the mix.

NBC wasn't talking Tuesday, but after weeks of back-and-forth negotiations, insiders said the Peacock has closed a very rich deal for six episodes of a half-hour unscripted comedic series that will chronicle Victoria "Posh" Beckham's move to Los Angeles.

This report from Variety also carries rumor that the series – supposedly worth nearly $20 million – will be "genre busting."

Which is code for "Americans giving a crap about a pair of self-important Brits." Indeed, that would be genre busting.
