Grabby Lou Pearlman Cops a Feel Plea

loupearlman.jpg The man behind *Nsync and the Backstreet Boys reached a plea deal with the U.S. district attorney over charges he spearheaded a Ponzi scheme. Lou Pearlman, who's currently sitting in a jail cell, will not plead guilty to the original bank fraud charges – where he was alleged to have stolen $20 million from a bank using fake loan documents, as well as bilking investors out of upwards of $200 million – but to "expanded bank fraud charges and new conspiracy to defraud investors, money laundering, and bankruptcy fraud charges." Um, okay.

Radar says at sentencing, he'll face "a reduced max of 25 years." For his part, Pearlman insists only two of his bogus companies were involved in the scandal, which means his precious boy band creations are 100 percent pure. Minus those molestation allegations.
