You mistook who's birthday party it was. On Abbe Diaz's third person account, it's clearly listed as BUSY Phillips b-day party - a former Dawson's Creek actress.
It is really disgusting that your "friend" called Jake "the other queer from Brokeback". Nothing wrong with being gay, but Jake has a name and is an actor who was in a movie. He is not the character. He doesn't need to be dismissed like that. Pathetic!
This never happened. I know where Heath was and he didnt throw any parties. And Jake was in Texas and France. This is a malicious and slanderous item. I will alert GLAAD that your sight uses language such as "queer" in purposeful, hurtful ways.
This party happened Sunday, June 25 before Jake went to France with L. Armstrong. Jake and Heath don't care if they are called queer on occasion by their peers, it's expected after BBM. They don't care because it's not true in either case. That's why Jake was more than OK with the homophobic jokes at the Espys. The best way to distance yourself from that is either go into hiding like Heath or make fun of them like Jake. Get over it already.
There is some chick who is going around making a big deal about the fact that Jake is referred to as the queer from BBM. Some people need to chill. This is a gossip site and this is gossip. I don't really think of him being called queer as an insult anyway. Not as though it's a bad thing to be.

Having both Jake and Heath dismissed as queers from what i would assume are their peers if the story is true (oh yeah, THE OTHER QUEER FROM BBM) is disturbing. I wonder if Jake and Heath now regret taking on those roles.
I can attest that this "rumor" is true because my girlfriend was also at this party. She said Heath was sitting by a tree smoking pot out of an apple and laughing with some other guy. She said eventually they started eating the apple and joking about whether it would get them more high. Seems pretty stupid if you ask me…
