Hillary Clinton Suddenly a Friend of the Media

Yesterday, as you might have heard, Hillary Clinton won Ohio and Texas. It didn't just recharge (or rather, re-enable) her presidential campaign; it was also a slap in the face to the media who have been relentless in their criticism for her while leaving Barack Obama's CV alone.

Which might explain why, when she made the morning show rounds earlier today (hitting the "sextecta" of ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, MSNBC, and CNN) as part of her own media relations campaign, her groundbreaking suggestion that she might entertain a joint ticket with Obama went without any follow up.

Look who's got it easy now.

You are so right…She, the other half of the Clinton machine, played the media like a fiddle. She has them dancing to her tune and singing her song. It's the same ole same ole. She puts feminism to shame and as a woman and democrate, I may be faced with voting republican this fall. I wonder how long Americans will tire of the Clinton gloat and smirks that deceived the public for 8 years in the past and will continue to do so for another 4 years if they continue to let the press have their newfound love fest with the Clinton machine fester and grow…

I was just thinking this morning about how if she gets nominated, I am kind of screwed - I insist on voting for someone I would actually want to have as president, and I don't want Clinton, McCain or Nader anymore… unless the Peace and Freedom Party came up with something good I don't know what I'd do. But I would be willing to vote for a Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton ticket.

When I saw that headline I thought she was talking about serving as v.p. on a ticket with obama as president. To me that makes sense because she's only 60 years old and she can run for Pres. the next time around. She'd have 4 years as vice president to plan for her own administration.
