So how did the "ANGELINA GAVE BIRTH!!!" rumor – that got Entertainment Tonight in a giant cauldron of boiling shit for its fake world exclusive – even get started?

It all started May 26, four days before ET's since de-bunked report, when someone, identified only as "Jenah" and supposed from New York City, posted to famousbabesblog.blogspot.com (since disappeared from the web) claiming to be "the best friend to one of Brad & Angelina's nannies, I believe I can report this before any other news outlet: THEY HAD THEIR TWINS!"
And as these things are wont to do, the item got circulated all over celebrity message boards, before winding up on the French website PurePeople, which noted the report came from a blog, and thus shouldn't be treated as fact. (BLOGS LIE!!, after all.) That item got picked up by JustJared, which cited "media outlets in France" but noted, "This rumor has not been confirmed by any reps of the Jolie-Pitt clan."
From there, Entertainment Tonight got wind, claimed the exclusive as their own (and even copying the babies' names given in the original report). Then the tabloid magazines posted the news on their blog, until word arrived that the report was false, everyone backtracked and debunked the rumor, while ET remained its source was reliable. Cue Jolie's attorneys at Lavely & Singer to begin circulating letters explaining how somebody was impersonating Jolie's assistant Holly Goline, all the while ET has sat idly by pretending the whole thing never happened, even though they knew their source was bad.
All of which brings up two big questions:
1) Was the person who posted the original item that got all this started just trying to stir up some shit? Or did she have reliable information that turned out to be false?
2) Did Entertainment Tonight, which is now said to have known its impostor source was bunk, actually try to hide behind what they claimed was a legitimate source when, in fact, the show was simply using this anonymous blog post as its single source of information, and didn't want to be forced into admitting it?

They were born on May 26, 2008 in the afternoon (French time) near their home on the French Riviera. Angie had her doctor, Dr. Jason Rothbart flown in again, just as he was with Shiloh, and he delivered them by C-Section. The twins are both girls, and their names are Isla Marcheline Jolie-Pitt and Amelie Jane Jolie-Pitt! Both are happy, healthy, and beautiful.

According to our information still is the domain of Miraval that the whole family celebrated yesterday evening, two years of Shiloh.

Any reputable journalist would have called shenanigans on that; if ET had access to Jolie's and Pitt's reps, they should have checked before announcing something they couldn't confirm. Pathetic and sad, but funny, 'cause I think ET's now lost some credibility with viewers. oops.
PS: Aix-en-Provence is not on the French Rivera, nor is on the coast. This blogger clearly had false info, if anything at all.
I'm glad someone is exposing this hypocritical bullshit coming from these so called legit media sources. ET just doesn't want to admit that they're so desperate and axious for anything even a crumb on the Pitt family they'd bow to these measures. Does it surprise anyone though? They're the same group that was going to run the Heath Ledger tape and how could we forget the year of Anna Nicole stories coming from them. None of these tabloids have real sources that's obvious because it's the same lying garbage week in, week out.

I first ran across the report online on 05/30/08 on the Contactmusic.com site. I pulled the site up, read the article, hit the back button, back to search on google.. The report by contactmusic had disappeared. I mean gone that fast. There has been so much negative info put out about the couple, so many lies put out over the last few years. Seen photos that were taken a year prior placed on new reports. If ET was aware this story was false, published and was so determined it was true.. There certainly is something wrong with their crew. Hard to believe anything they report anylonger. The one thing that really gets me, everyone should know these nanny's and employees are under a contract, never to discuss the family. To do so, 1. they get fired. 2. they get sued. 3. no celebrity will ever hire them again. Now, someone close to the couple, are you kidding.. Would your close friends call the news crews are reveal your private info? Why would hers?

Angelina did not give birth and they as in ET knew in advance from Jolies assistant Holly Goline that they were reporting fake news But they still aired the lies.

Do not take me wrong ,i dont mean no wrong, but I do not say Et has corect day , but she was definitly hospitalised coz of complication and twins are born early , still in incubator…i hope i did spell it right ..i m medical laboratory tech.and rumers go very quicly in Europe .

ET wont bother to recant this story . Possibly blame it on Mary Hart. But when you think about it Mary Hart was at some big due after the twin annoucement getting her pic taken and still claiming that the twin story was true .
Oh and she said she never ever had to recant a story in her 26 yrs working for ET.

The blurry now photoshopped pics of Angie were fron a helicopter ariel view pic. Very invasive when we know the papz didnt ask the Jolie Pitts if they could fly their helicopter over their private rented home to snap the photos. Sick of the lies about this very generous couple.
