Idle Minds Want to Know
Whether a certain someone wants to have it both ways

hillarybarack.jpg If Barack Obama gets to claim he won Texas because he amassed more pledged delegates than Hillary Clinton, who actually won more of the popular vote, does he also get to argue the Democratic nominee should be decided not by another purposeful kink in DNC rules, which allow for superdelegates to sway the vote away from the popular vote, but by the number of pledged delegates?

Your rabid pro-Hillary bias is getting tiresome. Here’s the problem with your little riddle: Obama isn’t just claiming he won more pledged delegates in Texas, guess what, he actually did. Secondly, counting caucus delegates correctly enfranchises voters, while allowing for backroom Washington insiders to overturn the will of the popular and delegate vote disenfranchises them. They may both be rules of the DNC, but which one sounds more democratic to you?

You have your own Florida politicians to thank for that. Everyone knew the rules going into the primaries, and only one candidate is now trying to change them to suit her desperate, unattainable needs. I was pretty room temperature before, but your overheated response has now set me off. Peace.
