They're worried that we're "super busy" covering Fashion Week. And we're not, really, but we are super tired from the minimal amount of output! Even New York magazine must stop caring at some point.
But if it's a publicist showing feigned emotion, you know there's an ulterior motive: product pushing! So who is M Booth tossing our way as a savior from skinny models and a complete lack of runway mishaps?
It's Fabio's favorite English muffin spread, I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter.
"Since you’re probably super busy covering Fashion Week, I thought I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter’s online game show and sweepstakes could be a great diversion for you when you’re taking a break from your Fashion Week coverage," reads the pitch. This fun-filled online gaming experience, called "Now You Know Better," includes trivia questions like, "In the 1999 Thanksgiving episode of ‘Friends’, what ingredient does Rachel mistakenly put in her English trifle?" The options are: Ham, Turkey, Mince, Hollandaise, or Mayonnaise. We're invited to email back to see if we guessed right!
Instead, we're gonna eat a ham and turkey sandwich – hold the mince – and get back to hovering over WireImage's website.
