Kathy Griffin, comedian and victim of a quitting assistant, normally charges in the tens of thousands of dollars to appear at your corporate retreat or nine-year-old's birthday party.
But there is another way to attach yourself to Griffin and generate at least a fraction of the buzz that would come with actually booking her: Trying to book her, getting no response, and then launching a marketing campaign that says "We tried booking Kathy Griffin but she ignored us" when you're actually trying to get everybody mentioning the non-scandal and linking to your site.

Ooh…see, this is how you end up getting sued. It's one thing to use her name in the banner, it's quite another to use her image. Plus, I think that image is from a Bravo promotional image, which makes things ten times worse. I hope Manhunt has made a lot of money, cause they'll need to give some of it to Kathy.

Not a porn site. A "Sexual Networking Site" = "hookup." Of course you could view individuals posting naked pics of themselves as porn, but there are other sites that exist just to look at people's naked pics of themselves.\

First off the phrase is PNP which stands for Party and Play, which means, lets do drugs and have sex. Manhunt has a stated policy of not allowing members to state they are actively looking for "PNP" in their profiles. Members at Manhunt also cannot use terms like "420" or "poppers." And if Mollygood doesn't know what those terms mean, get off your lazy asses and Wiki or Google them before posting another totally un-fact-checked story.
Members at Manhunt still use code terms (in some local markets, symbols, such as a ^ for coke or # for crystal or whatever in their profiles. Manhunt only started banning those words after NYC started coming after it a couple of years ago.
That said, people who want to do drugs and have sex will find a way. Manhunt just makes it easy for them. At least it keeps them out of the general public.

if your on manhunt, your not looking for Kathy Griffin. You've got one thing on your brain and Kathy, as funny as she maybe does not have one between her legs.
It seems when you captured the banner you missed some of the verbiage. The banner on the site has a disclaimer that states specifically that Kathy is no way endorsed the website. You should make sure not to "edit" things to make an invalid point.

Shucks, everyone knows Craigslist is where you go for P & P hookups. Manhunt is where you go te meet the nice gay-next-door type who just broke up with his florist husband and is ready to romp. Gay.com on the other hand is where you go to meet… um never mind. No one uses Gay.com anymore.
I am not sure what to think about this. I am embarrassed in a way that Manhunt would use her as a publicity puppet. I kind of agree with what this site says that they are just looking for link bait for their website by stirring up controversy but they must know what they are doing. They invest quite a bit of money in sponsoring gay parties and I bet they probably have Kathy on tap and her mgmt may actually be part of the "campaign". I seriously doubt they would use her professional looking photo in an ad unless they paid her. I will give them the benefit of the doubt.
