Did you hear? Hello launched its first issue in India today, joining the ranks of Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire and Time Out, as well as the somewhat unpopular OK! And while normally, this would only be semi-interesting news, the editor of the Indian edition's overly effusive remarks transformed this matter-of-fact development from blah to unintentionally amazing:
"Hello! is the big daddy of the fine life," said Ruchika Mehta, the editor of the monthly's Indian edition.
"The larger-than-life romances, the 'bling' homes, the to-die-for fashion and class, the 'giga-gorgeous' women and men, all packaged into a high gloss monthly."
Yes, it's certainly a proud day for America. We're so glad we could give those Bollywood stars a taste of "the fine life" by bringing them Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and, of course, that incorrigible class act, Lohan.

I get Hello magazine from http://speedimpex.com. I heard they are lowering the price for the new year. They also have the new Vogue India.
