Ivana Trump Wants to Be a Pitbull with Lipstick Too
The value of nonsense

Turns out Sarah Palin has a hero other than Davey Crocket: the governor once drove two hours to Anchorage for an opening of Ivana Trump's perfume and jewelry line:

She stood in line to get the perfume and a signed copy of my book," Ivana says. "So we chatted and bonded. We have a lot in common. She's down to earth; I'm down to earth. In business, I use the skills I picked up as a ski champion rather than shooting moose, but there's nothing wrong with that."

That sounds like the infamous line on Seinfeld, where George and Jerry keep having to reiterate that they're not gay, "not that there's anything wrong with that." We figure Ivana would rather guest-star on The L Word than actually be associated with the backwater candidate, but at least they can talk about their wayward children together.

Also: Both these women might have things in common, but "down to earth" isn't an adjective anybody would use to describe either lady.

Uh huh, because that's exactly what the McCain/Palin campaign needs. Being confirmed as "down to earth" in the same way that Ivana Trump is down to earth.

They've got the same hair style in common too. Coincidence? I think not.
