Jann Wenner's Obamamania Is Clear
Rolling Stone picks Barack

All that speculation that Us Weekly was going overboard in its support for Barack Obama … turned out to be entirely on target. Publisher Jann Wenner clearly has a soft spot for the senator; he's donated $3,150 to his campaign. But now he's going one step further.

For the first time in its 30-year history, Rolling Stone will endorse a candidate for president while the primary season is still going on. The magazine has endorsed White House hopefuls before (it started doing so in 1972), and regularly chooses Democrats, but only after the parties choose their nominees.

Now, RS is giving Barack Obama its stamp of approval, even though the battle between him and Hillary Clinton wages on.

"The reason for the early choice is twofold," write the editors in "Barack Obama: A New Hope." "Undoing the damage of the disastrous Bush years will take a leader who can unite a deeply divided nation, and politicians with gifts like Obama's are so rare that it's imperative for each of us to do our part."

So far, Rolling Stone has virtually ignored Hillary. But perhaps if she puts out an album, Clinton could at least score a blurb.

Why is there even a need for this anymore? Because the Democratic party can't get it's collective shit together, that's why!
This should have been wrapped up with a pretty ribbon by now and, as usual, The Cookie sums it up best!

Rolling Stone and Time and Newsweek and whothefuckevermagazine are just contributing to the DNC's bloated sense of self. Remember us? The voters? Let's get on with it already or we're going to have another GOP win in November pussies!

At least Rolling Stone haven't had there head up Senator Clinton's coochie for the last week or so like SNL and others crying foul when the Clinton machine are the masters of foul play. Rolling Stone good on you for not giving The Clintons any more of a soft bottom than they have had for the last week or so…

YOU ARE ALL MISSING THE POINT: the more that publications like Rolling Stone treat Obama as a demi-god (especially with that pose) the more he is going to scare away mainline voters. The backlash is growing. This joker didn't draft or negotiate ANY of the legislation attributed to him in the Illinois senate…which was all in the last year when Democrats had a majority (so much for acting as a mediator) and did NOTHING in three years in U.S. senate except one silly bill on aid to Africa (all his other attempts flopped)…..he is also ultraliberal…the hypocrisy behind this agent for change bullshit is absurd…america is figuring it out…and tide is against him now….i mean he can't even win one big state other than his home state.

Sorry. I WENT TO LAW SCHOOL WITH OBAMA: I was a year junior to him. He became President of Law Review only because they had a quota system for black students…still due….and being elevated to president is strictly a popularity contest. He didn't even graduate with honors….and most HLS grads graduate at least cum laude. Worse still as president of law review he never arranged any symposiums, special topics or so forth all of which are expected from a law review president.

As I said before his ranting on and on about change is going to wear thin pretty quick now that it is clear he has nothing to back it up…his website is just a hodge podge of ideas without any explanation about how to implement them.

He gives this nation hope that we might earn the respect we have lost with the rest of the world. I have neve contributed to a candidate before but I have now contibuted twice to Sen.Obama's campaign. He is intelligent, has integrity, and inspires hope for CHANGE!!! Obama '08!!!1
