To be fair, if Heather Locklear was under the influence, it doesn't really matter that the former Us Weekly staffer and current paparazzo Jill Ishkanian profited — to the tune of $27,000 $27,500 (Ishkanian writes in to correct), thanks to TMZ's photo purchase — from the actress' recklessness. Actually, shouldn't we reward people who call the police on drunk drivers? So, good job Jill! It's not blood money — it's good samaritan money. [Earlier]

Bet the parents of the teenaged boy Prison Break star Lane Garrison killed while drinking and driving wish there had been a pap around to call 911 when he got at the wheel!
She deserved to be reported, regardless of who did the reporting. She's got a serious problem and should not be allowed to drive. She's rich, hire a driver and for God's sake, she's got a kid at home, snap out of the wallowing and get some help.
Again - Heather has already been proven to not have been drinking. And the woman JUST GOT OUT of rehab for depression and anxiety. There's a good chance that IF she was on anything it was a prescription medication that she had a bad reaction to.
Now the whole concept of Jill doing a 'good' thing might have been above reproach - except for the profit angle. A good dead that one does only to profit from,m= really isn't all that altruistic now is it. That kind of transparent self interest never makes one friends and often gains one enemies.
SHE IS A LOSER. AS ARE ALL PAPARAZZO. LEACHES ON SOCIETY. YEAH YEAH I KNOW U MAKE MONEY, BUT TRUST ME YOU ALL WILL END UP ALONE AND UNLOVED
Jill Ishkanian should donate those profits for the non-profit organization Mothers Against Drunk Driving. If Jill is such a good samaritan, she should write the check over to MADD and THEN something good can come out of this.
Here is what Jill's donation can do:
"Your donation is used to help fund programs that save lives and prevent injuries every day across our country. From our Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving to the numerous youth programs that prevent underage drinking, your donation touches the lives of countless thousands – including your family, friends and neighbors."
I urge Jill to donate the money for this good cause. Will she be compassionate enough to do so? If she has any compassion and really wants to be a good samaritan, MADD expects a few thousand dollars. Her town of Montecito would be so proud if she donated!
I agree with the above comment. This woman should donate her earnings from this to a greater cause. She only called out of pure concern and to keep drunk drivers off the road right? She would have done the same had their not been a pay day involved.
M.A.D.D. is a wonderful organization. My sister lost her son in an accident where the other driver was drunk. Keeping these people off the road is a must, and educating about the dangers is a huge part of that.
She probebly drugged Heather….
I have never seen anything as ugly as what I saw on Extra!!!!
What she did to Heather makes her as ugly on the inside as well.
If that is possible!!!!
We all need to be more responsible citizens and do what we can to help our fellow community members. Drunk driving is a HUGE problem in all communities. I encourage everyone to report obviously impaired drivers. You may be saving their life or someone else's. Because of the judgment impairing effects of alcohol, it's all too easy to get behind the wheel after drinking, not realizing that our ability to drive safely has been significantly diminished. It may be a hard but necessary lesson for some of us to learn to not drive after drinking. One DUI arrest should be sufficient to make us more aware and cautious. Hand over the keys–call a taxi. Be a responsible drinker and driver.
This woman Jill Ishkanian belongs behind bars. From what we are hearing thats exactly where she is going
hahahahahahahahahahaha
This B**** Jill needs to get hers!
Allegedly, Jill Ishkanian followed Heather Locklear and then watched as Heather went into a store (I believe it was a grocery store). When Heather came out of the store, Jill called 911 to report Heather's driving and then IMMEDIATELY called other media/paparazzi. If there was ANY concern for other drivers on the road, why didn't Jill call 911 while she was following Heather before Heather arrived at the store? Why didn't she go inside to see if Heather appeared impaired? The answer is quite clear, waiting until Heather was leaving the store allowed the lag time needed to get all the pieces in place to set up Miss Locklear.
Rumor has it that Ishkanian is friends with Denise Richards.
David… you missed some facts:
NYPost
January 13, 2009 –
FORMER Us Weekly editor Jill Ishkanian is running out of moneymaking schemes. Ishkanian was shadowing Heather Locklear last September, called police when she saw Locklear getting into her car, and then sleazily sold photos of the DUI bust to TMZ for $27,500. Then, Ishkanian filed a $55 million lawsuit against Us Weekly, accusing then-West Coast editor Ken Baker of trying to ruin her reputation after she left the magazine and of sending dirty texts to his nanny. But a California judge has thrown out her case and awarded Jann Wenner's mag $1 million in legal fees.
WHERE THE F@CK IS SHE GOING TO GET THE $1 MILLION DOLLARS FROM?
The post item was a lie, much like the ones you tell from your huge twat. Why don't you wonder where your next false EDD check will come from?
