Joe Francis Admits, Again, That His Wild Girls Were Underage

Joe Francis

Yesterday, Joe Francis (once again) plead guilty to two counts of "violating federal record-keeping laws" when he completely ignored the fact that "some" of the girls in his Girls Gone Wild videos were under 18. The last time Francis plead guilty, it was about the same thing, except his company, Mantra Films Inc., was the one dishing out the cash. (And plead guilty to 10 counts, versus two.)

But this time, it's a little more personal.

Francis agreed to personally pay a $500,000 fine to settle charges that he failed to keep records of the ages and identities of the women who appeared in his soft-core sex videos. Francis earlier this month acknowledged that footage of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct appeared in at least two DVDs he released.

At least two DVDs … meaning probably closer to five or six DVDs. Still, we hope this will put an end to the underage sex scenes. Of course plenty of 18 to 20-year-olds will still be drinking illegally before they jump in the shower together … but we don't really think Francis can be held responsible for that.
