Very sad and I feel much sympathy for Jett's parents who must be devastated. However, I wonder why, if he suffered seizures, he was in the bathtub without a watchful eye being kept out for his well-being. Seems to me a child who suffers from seizures is watched when they are known to be in places or situations where a seizure could be a particular threat to their safety, such as a wet tub.

Very sad. I hope that if he had a seizure disorder that he was on medication. Lets hope that the parents belief in Scientology did not keep them from giving him medication.

You people are sick, these PEOPLE lost their child and you have the nerve to bring up their religion? Obviously a 16 year old does not want his parents to watch him shower so what a stupid comment to make, this is a tragedy that could not be foreseen, if something like this happened to you would you like people to blame you? So rude and disrespectful to fellow human beings, makes me sick.

@rji: I agree with you! How sorry I am for their
loss. People out there…… Think good thoughts for these wonderful people and
their Families & Friends. Loss can happen to anyone, and your heart can be broken in
an instant, were all in this together. Never talk unless you've walked in someone else's shoes!
You must walk in them first, and then you can bet your words would be chosen
very carefully!!!

Peace to all in the New Year………

Woody, As if a 16 year old wants to observed in the shower. People of all ages manage seizures and lead a normal life. My son also suffered from kawasaki syndrome as a three year old and I have followed Jett's life because of this. My deepest condolences to these poor two people who have lost their beautiful boy. Their lives will never be the same.

If he did have autism do they have medication for seizures or symptoms that could have prevented this? Because that could be neglect or child endangerment. I don't know what the difference is between scientology vitamins or medication besides i guess synthetic production. There are also a lot of natural chinese herbs that have medicinal value.

Ya guys… Jett reportedly couldn't speak… and they didn't do anything to stop the rumours. It's possible that this was a lie, but it's well-known that they were in denial of his autism.

This is sketchy. And it's their fault that they were shitty, delusional parents when he was alive and now people are questioning their actions. My heart goes out to them, of course, but they have to give some answers.

Well, John claims Jett had Kawasaki disease even in his teens, but Kawasaki disease doesn't last through your teens.
John said that that he had Kawasaki because of chemical exposure, which is ridiculous. And Kawasaki disease does not cause seizures. Here's a doctor's explanation:
http://andrewsullivan.theatlan......html#more
You know what does cause seizures? Autism. And there have been protests and claims by his neighbors stating that he is autistic. But that the Travolta's refuse to believe he is autistic because Scientoligist's don't believe in mental illnesses (and austism just recently stopped being considered a mentall illness). So, yeah, they have some answers to give.
That said, I feel for the family and I'm devastated that someone so young passed away.
PS
And the lawyer said that they put Jett on Depakote but had to stop due to liver damage. Uuummm…. why didn't they try another medicine after that?

@I don't think Bert and Ernie are gay… just looking for the right women.: #15 - I completely agree with all your comments. I think you're right on. It's a real stretch that he died of Kawasaki disease. Based on what I've read and heard on the news - he had regular, frequent seizures. Despite this, he was not on any medication.
