Last night IFC and BlackBook magazine threw a swanky soiree at the Soho Grand in honor of their October cover subject, Maggie Gyllenhaal. As you know, we already saw Maggie's new indy flick Sherrybaby at the Hearst building with Marie Claire (something BlackBook's PR gal was not very happy about), so we skipped the screening and went straight to the boozey schmoozy, with our photog Matthew Krautheim in tow.
Due to the freezing, raining weather, the party was upstairs instead of in the garden, but there was still plenty of smoking room … and smokin' film industry types.
Maggie Gyllenhaal showed, looking super pregnant and like she was about ready to fall down. No Peter Sarsgaard … or Jake (which is, like, the only reason we even went) … but lots of infused Vodka and plenty of magazines to keep us entertained. Michael Musto even said hello to us before rushing straight to the back of the room.
After the jump, a bunch of people you probably don't care about … but they're sexier than your cubemate so you'll look at them anyways.

Pretty people stood in line for 267 Infusions' fruity vodkas. And this bar only served it on the rocks — which meant you had to wait your turn for your five minute slot in the bathroom for extra curriculars.

These IFC things are always filled with film people. Who are hotter than media people, but loads less interesting. To us, anyhow.

Black Book's nightlife consultants Kendra Salvatore knows how to party. Sara McCarty holds intern Mike Martino's hand while his boss, John Vorwald (not pictured), calls Mike "Brian" — an unwritten but widely known tactic to keep the unpaid help in their place.

Meet D.J. Dow Jones. Are stockbrokers not making much cash these days?

There was a lot more room on the smoking deck than inside the hotel. They should really consider reimplementing the "no fatties" policy.

Maggie Gyllenhaal is so prego. Also, Maggie Gyllenhaal so does not want to be here.

IFC Producer Mark Farerr is really happy to be here with Rachel Nasvik. Rachel's really happy she did shots before arriving.

Jennifer Saginor (left) obviously grew up in the Playboy Mansion. She let Adam Collyer and Megan Simpson talk to her, until she realized Megan had no relation to Ashlee Simpson … who just so happened to be staying at the Grand.

Bridget Barkan was also in Sherrybaby alongside Maggie G. Watch as Bridget tries to line up her next job with Elevation Filmworks' Iliana Nikolic.

Marisol Cruz and Tiffiny Morris rounded out the "hot publicist" quota.

Since Tara (left) works for the liquor company, you'd think she would fill Jenn's, and Katelyn's, empty glasses.

We told photog Matthew Krautheim to snap some "sexy guys." We got Matt, Nick, and Josh. Maybe they're rich?

Ilka Gregory thinks she's a lot better looking than that pointlss poster with Maggie Gyllenhaal on it. Joe Resudek agrees — about the part where he's better looking than the poster.

BlackBook's Brett Wagner, Logan Elsass, Candi Naboicheck, and Alex Soler with DJ Dow Jones. You couldn't even get into this party without a big belt. Even if you were the host.

276 Infusions is actually called 267 Infusions…thanks for the great shots - and lovin the captions!
