How did you pick your default scoring source list for the fantasy celebrity league? And why isn't Mollygood on it? Or, for that matter, Jossip? Does that have to do with our propensity for using celebrity nicknames?

We've toyed with putting Jossip on. Are you about to pressure me?

No, you guys are way better than others with nicknames. Fafa fanatics have been known to write Perez begging him to call Victoria Beckham by her real name.

I'm sure he thoughtfully considers each request and writes each person back with a courteous, politely-worded note. That may or may not contain the word "shiteous."

Oh, of course.

But since we're on the subject, the rules state that an official "mention" requires that a celebrity's first AND last name be contained in the title or body of the post. Doesn't that unfairly penalize team managers by not allowing them to cash in on gratuitous "Blohan" or "Brangelina references?

A little, but it works out well in that the people who have the most used nicknames are also the top scoring on the site – so they're still a great pickup.

Fair enough. So what's the most creative team name you've seen so far?

Oh, man, there are so many good ones each week, it's hard to say. We actually pick out 3 of the best and highlight them in the newsletter each week. People get a kick outta that. A really great league name I saw recently was "Sodom and Gimme-more-a." I thought that was really creative.

Right, a thinly veiled reference to the VMA's. Take that, Britney! Speaking of which, it's no secret that Britney is your [celebrity fantasy] league MVP. But are there any dark horse celebrities (i.e. has-beens with new reality shows or, better yet, DUI's) that have performed far beyond expectations?
