Katie Couric's "Anonymous" Rebuke
"However you feel about her politics, I feel that Sen. Clinton received some of the most unfair, hostile coverage I've ever seen." That's womyn champion and embroiled anchor Katie Couric speaking at the Sewall-Belmont House and Museum at their Alice Award Luncheon Gala, where she got an award for something. Katie joins former NBC anchor Tom Brokaw in going after peers for throwing the lady senator under the bus during most of her presidential bid. And in case you had an question just who she was aiming her evil eye at, she referred to one ""prominent member of the commentariat" who said he "found it hard to be objective when it came to Obama." Suggested Couric to said Obamamaniac: "Find another line of work." [FBDC]

IT IS INDEED TROUBLING TO OBSERVE THE CURRENT STATE OF OUR "NEWS" BROADCASTS. WE HAVE A BATALLION OF FAST TALKING, BABBLING POLITICAL FAIRIES ALL DELIVERING THE "NEWS" COMPLETE WITH THEIR OWN BIAS AND IN FACT PROMOTING THEIR OWN CHOICE FOR PRESIDENT AS IF IT WAS TOTALLY ACCEPTABLE. THERE ARE NO "NEWS" ON CABLE TV, ONLY SELF SERVING TALKERS WHO HAVE EGOS BIGGER THAN THE UNIVERSE AND WHO FEEL PERFECTLY ENTITLED, IN FACT EMPOWERED, TO DECIDE WHO SHOULD BE PRESIDENT AND TAKE TO THE AIR WAVES TO SAY SO. THIS IS NOT THE AMERICA I GREW UP IN, REMINDS ME MORE OF FASCISM. THERE SHOULD BE A LAW THAT REQUIRES AN OBJECTIVE FACTUAL DELIVERY OF THE NEWS OF THE WORLD AND ANY POLITICAL OPINIONS, COMMENTQRY, ETC. SHOULD BE IDENTIFIED AS SUCH BEFORE THEY ARE DELIVERED AND PEOPLE LIKE CHRIS "TWEETY BIRD" MATTHEWS AND TIM "TOAD EYES" RUSSERT SHOULD HAVE THEIR SOAP BOXES TAKEN AWAY AND THE AIRWAVES SHOULD BE RETURNED TO SOME SEMBLANCE OF SANITY.
