Keith Olbermann Adds “Beating Women Senseless” to MSNBC’s “Pimping” List

This clip of Keith Olbermann, on Wednesday’s Countdown, has Huffington Post media crit Rachel Sklar in a huff. It’s because Keith sums up an argument about how to end the Barack vs. Hillary fight – Newsweek’s Howard Fineman says the “adults” of the party must finally make a decision – with, “Somebody who can take her into a room and only he comes out.”

For Sklar, that sounds a bit too close like beating up a defenseless woman and leaving her for dead. To us, that sounds a bit overreactionary.

What does that mean? Really, it can only mean one thing: Beating the crap out of Hillary Clinton, to the point where she is physically incapable of of getting up and walking out. At minimum. We know this. We know this because we have all seen movies where people are invited into private places to have “discussions” and the unruly party is, um, dealt with accordingly. It’s an unmistakably violent image.

Do I really think Olbermann thinks Hillary Clinton should really be violently beaten to the point of physical incapacitation, or worse? No, though some have taken that statement to its logical conclusion. But it is an unmistakably violent image ??? and that point seems to be undisputed by those who have written about it so far. Keith Olbermann and Howard Finemann have lost any credibility they may have had by jumping on the Obama bandwagon months ago.

They are incapable of forming an objective thought when it comes to Hillary.

???Countdown??? is nothing more than a low rated 60 minute endorsement of the Obama campaign.

Keith used to be funny ??? now he???s just scary/crazy.

Perhaps Keith and Howard are intimidated by strong women?

This is not the first time KO has been called out for making misogynist (and violent) comments. He never learns from his mistakes; he makes jokes about them later. He thinks those kinds of comments are funny. Idiot.

The really awful part of comments like his (and the many sexist and misogynistic comments the media has made in recent months) is that the speaker always seems amused or confused about the reaction they get.

If Huffin Puff had tried to make the same point about any other cable news host I would say that they were attacking him for absolutely no reason except some personal dislike. With KO I say sauce for the goose, sauce for the gander.

How many times have we seen KO attack Bill O’Reilly during his insulting WPITW episode complete with creepy music, creepy voices and snarly facial expressions? If Bill O had said the same thing it would have been picked up by one of the blue blogs and gone straight from them to KO’s teleprompter.

Olbermann’s long history of making insulting remarks about women on air speaks to his attitude towards women in general. Look at the fact that he’s shacked up with a 22-year old girl. He doesn’t respect WOMEN, he has to have a little girl. It’s sick.

Hell, I want to walk into a room with Hillz and only have me walk out! And yes, I would beat the heifer senseless. I don’t hate women, but at this point, I seriously don’t like Hillz. And I’m pretty sure I’m not a misogynist. I even used to be a feminist, but this campaign is making me re-think that one.

The Webster’s definition of feminism is “the principle that women should have political, economic, and social rights equal to those of men.” So, khia213, you no longer believe that women should be equal because of mudslinging in a presidential campaign?

I’m thinking that you weren’t much of a “feminist” in the first place.

I would like to take obama into a room and take care of him the same as he did to his gay lovers in Chicago

As far as I am concern, I feel that Keith Obbermann,Cris Matthews, Rachel Maddow (bitch)
and all the rest of them can go to hell

If Obama is nominated I swear I will not vote for him. I would rather see him dead

Keith OLBERMANN: You can’t stand strong women. So unless you beat the crap out of them, or get into a romance with a little girl barely over the legal limit, you can’t handle it! Grow up, sweetie, and join the Trinity. They have all kinds of transgendered politicos there. And your hysterically drama-queen OVER-EMOTIONALISM leaves you suspect to perhaps REALLY not liking those of the female sex for anything….

Gosh, Keith sweetie, we could take you into a room and scare the crap out of our metamucil-filled posterior that masquerades as “brain”…
