This is fucking ridiculous. A couple of guys get called names by members of their own queer community and the gay blogosphere begins its chant of racial Armageddon within the ranks. I've attended a rally everyday since prop 8 passed. They're chock-full of love, togetherness, and a whole lot of pissed off people. And none of that anger is aimed at the black community. Can we all STFU and get to work fixing what happened in CA on November 4?

Prop 8 is great.

I've always found white gays to be extremely racist in my dealings with them. Not surprised at the reaction the blogger received. White gays are hateful to the core.

Seriously, if blacks are so committed to living the Bible to the letter, they should still be slaves according the that same Bible. The Bible consistently supports the practice of slavery.
1 Corinthians 7:21: "Were you a slave when you were called? Do not let that trouble you. But even if a chance of freedom should come, choose rather to make good use of your servitude."

The American slave owner felt he was carrying out God's plan by buying and using slaves.
"Slavery was established by decree of Almighty God…it is sanctioned in the Bible, both Testaments, from Genisis to Revelation..it has existed in all ages, has been found among the people of the highest civilization, and in nations of the highest proficiency of the arts." Also there are innumerable Bible passages that reveal the means of dealing with certain enemies, even spoiled children and prying neighbors is to stone them to death. The Bible says plenty that is outmoded, disproven and unacceptable to civilized human beings. Those who choose specific Bible passages to support their own prejudice and hate are cowards and hypocrites.
If you do a web search on the subject of slavery and the bible, stoning your enemies to death (or many other strange passages) you can learn alot more of the Bible's little known advice to and counseling of mankind, that we as a civilization have long found unacceptable and long ago rejected.

You should check your dates…these particular reports of racist behavior at anti-Prop 8 rallies are more than a few days old. I think they refer to the Westwood and WeHo marches from Wednesday or Thursday of last week, not the big ones on Saturday.

Isn't it funny that the people of California keep voting on this issue and everytime the votes are tallied, California does not want to change the definition of marriage? Whether you break down the voting demographics or not the people voted (AGAIN) and in a democracy the will of the people must be honored, except if you live in California, then you must spew hatred and keep changing the bills so that the vote can be changed.

"The Will of the People" cannot be illegal or unconstitutional. Think about it. What if "The Will of the People" was to outlaw interracial marriage, deport all Mexicans, exterminate a particular race, on and on ad infinitum. Some people can't think beyond their own stench and that is why George W. Bush was allowed a second term to continue his mass destruction of our freedoms and constitutional rights.

BTW, I'm a black male myself and the typical black is so brainwashed by you guys, they deserve what they get. There are few black conservatives, relative to Libs, but none I've talked to gives a damn about what you all call each other and we expect to be called nigger and whatever else you can think of.
