Layoffs At CNBC?
The end of days

That's what the papes are saying…as many as 80 staffers, as early as today. Well, no point wasting any time as we loom closer and closer to Christmas.

As we've mentioned, this must sting doubly for the employees that have helped make the station the number business channel in the last several months, one with "impressive margins," despite the fact they are planning to cut $500 from the budget, which looks like it's mainly coming out in the form of employees' paychecks.

And especially since the on-air talent are getting all the cred for building the station up, and there are at least forty of those anchors. Who, you can be sure, aren't going to find themselves without a way to buy their kids gifts for the holidays.

If CNBC lays off I wish they'd start with the sickening blowhard Larry Kudlow.
Since he is devoid with a shred of decency or compassion to those who suffer it would be gratyfying to see this creepy bastard look for work. Even Fox wouldn't take him. He's never done a real days work in his drug-addled life and there's no more Enron to hand him shareholder cash.
