Let's Netflix Rielle Hunter's Failures!
When life imitates bad movies

John Edward's mistress is quickly becoming the most bankable bit on the side since Marilyn Monroe. Seriously, Ashley Dupree ain't got nothin' on Rielle Hunter, aka Allison Poole from American Psycho, aka Lisa Hunter: movie star. Whoops Lisa, your acting career reached its apex as an extra in a bad Goldie Hawn/Kurt Russel movie in the 80s. How's that for egg on your face?

IMDB description of Overboard, the 1987 film that (not-so-prominently) featured Ms. Hunter as a set piece:

Rich bitch Joanna hires country carpenter Dean to build a closet on her yacht. When the two don't see eye-to-eye, Dean is left unpaid while Joanna sets sail. The following day, Joanna is fished out of the sea, after falling overboard, suffering from amnesia. Dean sees a neat way to regain the money she owes him… he tells her she's his wife; that way Dean gets a free housekeeper and mother for his four kids.

This is almost identical to the real-life drama that played out between the ditsy blond Rielle (or whatever she's calling herself), and salt-of-the-earth (steel workers are in the same "class" as carpenters, fyi) Edwards. She ends up taking care of the his kid! They both have amnesia (well, until last Friday) on ever hooking up! He throws her Overboard for his dying wife!! Seriously, the possibilities are endless. Someone try to do one for Hunter's other film Ricochet, with Denzel Washington, in which she actually had a small speaking part . It should be easy; Hunter plays a reporter, and she's already so good at doing that.

So, Rielle Hunter is a failure for not getting anywhere in Hollywood?? So, I guess that makes 99.99% of the people there failures as well.
